Appreciative Reflections...

I'm basking in the afterglow of my first coaching session with Hannah, and reflecting on what happened, vs. what I thought "coaching" might be. I think some part of me expected to need to use my logical planning mind, or that I would be told to make lists and timelines. Instead, so beautifully, Hannah helped me stay grounded in my body and inner knowings, clarifying and deepening both my connection to purpose and the pathways that often come in and interrupt or block it. I feel an embodied sense of trust in myself and a lot more joy about creating the work I'm here to do in this chapter of my life. I felt deeply seen and understood, which opened into more clarity and trust of my own wisdom. If you're feeling stuck, unclear, or out-of-sync with yourself, Hannah's presence and insight will likely liberate a next insight.

- Sarah K., Visual Artist and Teacher

Hannah is a breath of fresh air. She brings a palpable and very relational presence to coaching – grounded, spacious, flexible, heart-based, and client-focused. You feel held with care and compassion as she walks with you through a current or recurring challenge.

Hannah helps shine a light on things so you can see them more clearly, and she knows the value of sitting with the dark, with what is uncomfortable. She coaches you, the person, while facilitating you having a clearer understanding of your relationship to your challenge, the problem. And she honors your autonomy and agency in the process. That approach evokes awareness, self-compassion, and transformation. That’s what good coaching is all about.

- Tina G., Professional Certified Coach

Hannah brings a very skilled, empathetic and compassionate presence to her coaching. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of clarifying and reflecting on some personal beliefs that were impacting my world – she held space and time for me to imagine what was possible! Thank you, Hannah, for being exactly who you are and doing what you do!

- Janet W., Life Coach, Mentor Coach and Fibre Artist

Hannah's coaching can totally change how you live! I've learned so much and the coaching has been so wonderful and excellent! It has helped change my outlook on navigating emotions. I feel more confident in my ability to handle emotional distress. I've also taken away lots of wisdom. For example, that I need to be able to truly experience sadness, if I want to truly experience joy.

- George R., environmental education non-profit Executive Director

Hannah is one of the most present, empathetic, inclusive, and wise creators of safe, transformative space that I have had the pleasure of growing/working with. Through a year-long engagement of participants from various demographics (age, gender, gender expression, race, income, location), Hannah held our group mindfully and tenderly. Ours was a group dealing with the daunting challenge and gift of uncovering, acknowledging, sharing, and titrating ancestral trauma in the North American South. With her irrepressible smile and reminders to breathe, Hannah held us as we plumbed the depths... gently, over time, and with deepening trust for ourselves and each other. Thank you for the gifts that you share, Hannah.

- Winn G., Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher

Hannah’s coaching style focuses in on what the underlying root causes of an issue are, and asks all the right questions while holding sacred space.  This technique provides a sense of safety as she invites me into the experience of identifying and actually FEELING the unprocessed energy that was stuck in my body and being. Now, instead of rationalizing in my mind, i can let myself actually feel what is coming up, knowing that the feeling is pointing me in an important direction of change.  She has taught so much and helped to clear even more!

“Life’s water flows from darkness.

Search the darkness don’t run from it.

Night travelers are full of light,

and you are, too; don’t leave this companionship.”
